Water Quality/CIP Project Manager

Job Description
The Project Manager selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in water quality compliance that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Senior Engineer that has 8+ years of experience in preparing water quality reports and providing project oversight. The work will be hybrid (on-site and remote) and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Santa Fe Springs area. Part-time work will also be considered.
Projects may include:
- Wellhead Treatment Projects
- Update of Water Master Plan
As a Water Quality/CIP Project Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and review project scope, request for proposals (RFPs), specifications, and engineering designs.
- Implement the planning, design, construction, and closeout phases of water quality engineering projects.
- Negotiate, administer, and manage agreements for consultant services, design, construction management, inspection, and other specialty services.
- Monitor and evaluate construction work in progress to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and material standards.
- Provide support by performing calculations and plan check reviews for construction phase.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual water quality reports to governing agencies.
- Keeps current on changes in regulations and procedures relating to drinking water quality.
Job Requirements
As a Water Quality/CIP Project Manager, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related
- Preferred: Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE) is desired
- Experience in developing water quality reporting for retail a water agencies, departments, or companies
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
