The Project Manager selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in water quality compliance that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Senior Engineer that has 8+ years of experience in preparing water quality reports and providing project oversight. The work will be hybrid (on-site and remote) and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Santa Fe Springs area. Part-time work will also be considered. 

Projects may include:

• Wellhead Treatment Projects
• Update of Water Master Plan

As a Water Quality/CIP Project Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and review project scope, request for proposals (RFPs), specifications, and engineering designs.
• Implement the planning, design, construction, and closeout phases of water quality engineering projects.
• Negotiate, administer, and manage agreements for consultant services, design, construction management, inspection, and other specialty services.
• Monitor and evaluate construction work in progress to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and material standards.
• Provide support by performing calculations and plan check reviews for construction phase.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual water quality reports to governing agencies.
• Keeps current on changes in regulations and procedures relating to drinking water quality.

As a Water Quality/CIP Project Manager, you will have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related
• Preferred: Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE) is desired
• Experience in developing water quality reporting for retail a water agencies, departments, or companies
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
• Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
