Water Distribution Supervisor

Job Description
Project Partners is seeking an experienced Water Distribution Supervisor with 10+ years of experience with water distribution systems to assist our public client in the Beverly Hills area. The position will be on-site and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).
The Water Distribution Supervisor duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee, prioritize, supervise, and coordinate the operation and activities of staff engaged in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of the water distribution system.
- Prepare estimates and monitor job costs; determine procedures, requirements, and initiate requisitions for materials, equipment and supplies necessary for job completion.
- Inspect job sites, check works-in-progress for proper procedures and usage of resources; oversee and assist staff with difficult assignments, and emergencies, as needed.
- Develop, maintain, and review technical operating standards and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and the effective delivery of quality water.
- Develop, maintain, and implement a preventive maintenance plan.
- Supervise, assign, schedule, and review the work of staff.

Job Requirements
The Water Distribution Supervisor will have:
- Associate’s degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university in water system technology, water treatment management, or a closely related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the operation, construction, maintenance, and repair of a domestic and non-potable water distribution system
- At least 2 years of required experience must have included supervisory and administrative experience
- Must possess a valid State of California Department of Public Health Services issued Grade D-4 Water Distribution Certificate (or higher)
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
