Wastewater Project Manager

Job Description
Project Partners is seeking an experienced Wastewater Project Manager with at least 15 years of experience to assist our public client in the Thousand Oaks area. The position will be hybrid on-site/remote and part-time (approximately 20 hours per week).
The Wastewater Project Manager duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and review project scope, request for proposals (RFPs), specifications, and engineering designs.
- Assist in the development of the program budget, staff reports, task orders, contracts, amendments, and change orders.
- Negotiate, administer, and manage agreements for consultant services, design, construction management, and inspection.
- Monitor and evaluate construction work in progress to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and material standards.
- Plan, organize, supervise and evaluate the work of assigned staff.
- Attend periodic meetings to update the City staff and develop a plan of action for short and long-term goals.

Job Requirements
The Wastewater Project Manager will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
