Senior Water Engineer

Job Description
Project Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Water Engineer with 15+ years of experience, including a strong understanding of water/wastewater facility projects, to assist our public client in the San Clemente area. The position will be hybrid on-site/remote and part-time (approximately 10 hours per week).
The Senior Water Engineer duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and review project scopes of work and request for proposals (RFPs)
- Review water projects, including plans, maps, preliminary layouts, and supporting documents.
- Perform technical research and determine design criteria in accordance with required standards
- Collaborate and confer with engineers and contracts
- Maintain a variety of files and records pertaining to assigned engineering functions
- Serve as project manager on water projects as assigned

Job Requirements
The Senior Water Engineer will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE) is desired
- Knowledge of engineering design and construction principles
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
