Job Description

The Construction Manager selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in wastewater treatment plant projects that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Construction Manager that has 15+ years of experience in wastewater construction management to work hybrid (on-site and remote) and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Playa Del Rey area.

As a Senior Wastewater Construction Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide construction management support on wastewater treatment plant related projects.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources towards the completion of assigned capital projects.
  • Prepare and present to management periodic reports on progress of assigned capital projects.
  • Represent or assist in representing the client in meeting with contractors.
  • Help resolve issues with contractors, site, owners, and designers.
  • Manage and coordinate contractors and consultants through construction on a range of wastewater improvement projects to ensure timely completion under budget.

Job Requirements

As a Senior Wastewater Construction Manager, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • 15+ years of experience with wastewater engineering and projects
  • Experience as a Wastewater Construction Manager
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
  • Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
