Project Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Public Works Engineer with 15+ years of experience to assist our public client in the West Hollywood area. The position will be hybrid on-site/remote and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).

The Senior Public Works Engineer duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare and review project scope, request for proposals (RFPs), specifications, and engineering designs.
• Implement the planning, design, construction, and closeout phases of capital engineering projects.
• Supervise staff members in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Monitor and evaluate construction work in progress to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and related construction and safety standards.
• Oversee and monitor the performance of contractors and consultants under contract to ensure that work is being done on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the terms of the contracts.
• Oversee and prepare complex, routine, and non-routine reports as requested utilizing a variety of software.

The Senior Public Works Engineer will have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or related field
• Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE)
• Minimum of 15 years professional engineering experience in civil engineering including experience in project management
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
• Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
