Project Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Drainage Engineer with 10+ years of experience to assist our public client in the Los Angeles area to develop and update a drainage manual. The position will be hybrid on-site/remote and either part-time or full-time (approximately 20 - 40 hours per week). 

The Senior Drainage Engineer duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare a work plan and schedule for the update of a Storm Drain Design Manual
• Set milestones to manage the delivery of the manual
• Prepare reports, schedules, presentations, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
• Prepare documents to be used on web platforms, like Drupal
• Incorporate current best practices into the manual

The Senior Drainage Engineer will have:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering
• Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in storm drain improvement projects and programs
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
• Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
