Job Description

Project Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Asset Management Engineer with 15+ years of experience to assist our public client in the Carson area. The position will be on-site and either part-time or full-time (approximately 20-40 hours per week). 

The Senior Asset Management Engineer duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate major repairs and equipment process upgrades.
  • Monitor data and operating reports to assess performance and identify operating and maintenance issues.
  • Develop recommendations to improve operational performance of the water treatment facility.
  • Work with operations staff and troubleshoot problems that occur at the treatment facility and the distribution system.
  • Coordinate the efforts of the Asset Management Program.
  • Conducts process equipment assessments and make recommendations for improvements.

Job Requirements

The Senior Asset Management Engineer will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or closely related field
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience in water treatment, storage, and distribution systems operations and maintenance
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
  • Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
