The Recruiter / Program Coordinator selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in developing and implementing recruiting strategies for a municipal agency that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for a Recruiter that has 2+ years of experience in human resource management (or similar) to work on-site and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Los Angeles area. 

As a Recruiter / Program Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and coordinate university and professional recruitment programs to attract diverse engineering talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, faculty, student organizations, and professional associations.
  • Plan and support career fairs, conferences, information sessions, and other recruitment events.
  • Coordinate candidate screening, interview scheduling, selection activities, and hiring documentation.
  • Track recruitment metrics, analyze results, and recommend improvements to recruiting strategies.
  • Support interviewer training, compliance requirements, and recruitment process administration.
  • Manage outreach materials, job postings, and recruitment communications.
  • Coordinate the Project Green Leadership Mentorship Program, including participant engagement, events, and program evaluation.

Job Requirements

As a Recruiter / Program Coordinator, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communication, Psychology, Sociology, Marketing, or a related field
  • Recommended: 2 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
  • Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
