Pretreatment Specialist

Job Description
Project Partners is seeking an experienced Pretreatment Specialist with 10+ years of experience in industrial waste and pretreatment to assist our public client in the Fountain Valley area. The position will be remote and either part-time or full-time (approximately 20-35 hours per week).
The Pretreatment Specialist duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Design and generate reports for use in annual EPA reports ensuring document quality control.
- Collaborate with IT department to configure a new program to complete EPA reporting to be filed electronically regarding pretreatment functions.
- Provide expertise regarding environmental compliance programs in support of source control to ensure compliance with quality assurance/quality control plans, practices, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements
The Pretreatment Specialist will have:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field
- Licensed California Professional Engineer (PE) is desired
- Strong experience with annual EPA report writing
- Knowledge of pretreatment report writing programs is desired
- Strong computer skills
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.)
- Valid CA Driver’s License and proof of insurance
