    <![CDATA[Field Surveyor Technician]]> Project Partners is seeking a Field Survey Technician with at least 2 years of surveying experience to assist a public-sector client in the LA area. The selected individual will assist with surveying and other field work on a number of public works and traffic-related projects in and around Los Angeles. They will be responsible for preparing and setting survey markers and construction stakes indicating offset, cut and fill data, elevations, stationing, slope stake information and position location, and setting and plumbing for foresight and backsight targets.

The selected individual will provide field and office services related to land development in the LA County area.     <![CDATA[Wastewater Plant Operator]]> Project Partners has an immediate need for a short-term Water Treatment Plant Operator to assist the City of Oceanside for a 2-3 month contract filling in for an operator out on medical leave. The minimum certification level for this position is a State of California Grade III Water Treatment Operator Certificate. The treatment plant is a direct filtration plant rated at 25 million gallons per day (MGD).  Process includes rapid mix, flocculation, filtration and disinfection. The plant treats surface water received from San Diego County Water Authority. 

    The selected individual will assist the supervisor in the coordination and supervision of a direct filtration facility; perform a variety of skilled duties involved in the operation and upkeep of plant equipment, facilities, and monitor the plant for efficient operation and safety.

    <![CDATA[CAD Civil 3D Designer]]> Project Partners has an immediate need for an AutoCAD Civil 3D Designer to assist a public-sector client in the LA area. The selected individual will work with a team of designers and assist with design work for a large wastewater treatment plant.

    In this role you will work directly with engineers on multi-discipline designs for water and wastewater projects utilizing Autodesk software (AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D).  Project work includes; development of civil layout drawings of various underground utility systems, grading, roads, buildings, and other requirements often in Wastewater Treatment Plant facilities.  This position requires knowledge of gravity and pressure pipeline plan and profile development other civil designs.  Development of contract drawings, field investigations, and support during construction are also important. 

    The CAD Civil 3D Designer will use Autodesk programs to design 3D civil models for use by other design disciplines as well as contractors on projects for municipal, private industrial, and federal clients.

    • Prepare 3D models and layouts and perform final drafting tasks from general instructions or conceptual information.
    • Demonstrate skills with thorough knowledge of procedures, practices, and use of the Autodesk software, including; AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D programs.
    • Assist in design efforts for municipal projects related to water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and pipelines.  Tasks include design, modeling and drafting, coordinating workload with engineering staff, and interacting with the design team, client, subcontractors, utilities, and teaming partners.
